• Torrington bicyclist critically injured in crash with Jeep on South Main Street, police say (ctpost.com) — A serious bicycle–Jeep collision on South Main Street in Torrington left a rider with critical head injuries and briefly shut down the intersection at Litchfield Street Tuesday afternoon. Torrington police say the Jeep's driver was unhurt and cooperative, and their Accident Investigation Team is still working to determine what happened before fully reopening the road.
