Baby Left In Car At Trumbull Mall, Mom Arrested: PD
A concerned person saw the baby alone and called police.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport woman was arrested after he baby was found crying in an unlocked car alone outside of the Cheesecake Factory April 5, according to police.
A concerned person saw the baby alone in the vehicle, waited 20 minutes and called police when no one showed up, police said.
There was no license plate on the car. A woman eventually came out and asked what was happening. She told police she works at the Cheesecake Factory and was trying to get paperwork after she lost her license.

The manager told a different story. He said the woman had no reason to be there and that she had stolen $150 out of another employee's pocketbook that was left in the employee locker room, police said.
She also had outstanding failure to appear warrants from State Police and Stratford Police.

Melissa Zowine, 26, was charged with risk of injury to a child, leaving a child unsupervised in a motor vehicle, sixth-degree larceny and interfering with police.
