TRUMBULL, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Trumbull, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Trumbull Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Trumbull is Aug. 29, according to the 2023-2024 district calendar.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Trumbull Public Schools

  • First Day: Aug. 29
  • Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22 (early closing) through Nov. 24
  • Winter Break: Dec. 22 (early closing) through Jan. 1
  • Spring Break: April 8 through April 12
  • Last Day: June 7 (half day)
