Kids! Grow Your Own Food This Summer with TNAC!
The other truth is it's just fun to dig in the dirt, and rewarding to produce your own food.
I could go on and on, about how growing your own food is healthy, helps the environment by sidestepping transportation, packaging, and a variety of pesticide and synthetic preservatives …but the other truth is it’s just fun to dig in the dirt, and rewarding to produce your own food.
Join TNAC for a fun and rewarding garden program!
Children ages 7 and up will learn the joy of “growing your own food” with Richard Moore of Moorefield Herb Farm. At the Trumbull Community Gardens, participants will plant a garden, care for it, watch it grow, and consume the fruits of their labor. Includes a visit to the farm one week! Tuesdays, May 21st– June 25th 4:00-5:00PM
