This WEEKEND: American Girl Movie Night & Annual Members Meeting at Historical Society!

Info about American Girl Movie Night May 18th and Historical Society Annual members meeting and elections May 19th

After an amazingly successful Edwardian Mother's Day Tea fundraiser last weekend, we continue on with our May events!

MAY 18th 4-6PM:This coming year we will be having a series of "Movies and the Museum" for families to enjoy. This Saturday we will be showing the film "Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front" in honor of Memorial Day. The American Girl series has remained popular throughout the last few decades, and continues to educate young children about American history through the eyes of young girls. This movie follows Molly, a little girl living in Illinois during World War II. Kids are invited to bring along a favorite doll, pillow and blanket! Parents are welcome! Popcorn will be provided by the Trumbull Historical Society. $5 per person at the door. All proceeds benefit our educational programs.

May 19th 2-4pm: This Sunday we will be having our annual members meeting and elections of board members and officers. All members are invited to attend and bring along a dessert or snack to share! Not a member yet? Come learn more about what we do here at the Trumbull Historical Society and ways you can become involved. Our organization relies on volunteers to keep the Historical Society active and operational. Please consider becoming a core volunteer!
