Coronavirus Trumbull: Town Up To 4 Cases
Four people were confirmed to have the new coronavirus, according to town officials.

TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull now has four confirmed cases of new coronavirus as of Tuesday. The people who have it are a 31-year-old male, a 41-year-old male, 29-year-old female and 50-year-old female.
Trumbull announced its first confirmed case Monday morning.
The state as a whole has 415 confirmed cases, 10 deaths and 54 people hospitalized as of Monday evening. Gov. Ned Lamont said current data shows that 15 percent of infected people end up in the hospital and five percent end up in intensive care. The average stay in Connecticut for hospitalizations has been two weeks.

" We understand that this information is concerning; however, the Town of Trumbull has been working diligently to prepare for this situation," said First Selectman Vicki Tesoro after the first case was announced "As localized transmission continues throughout Connecticut, we should anticipate more confirmed cases within the town. We will continue to communicate with the State Department of Public Health and post daily updates and case counts on our town website.
The Pequonnock River Trail and people are reminded to practice good social distancing. The basketball courts, playgrounds, parks, and the golf course in Trumbull are closed.
