DUI Arrest Made After Car Goes Airborne: Trumbull PD
The crash sent the man to the hospital, police said.
TRUMBULL, CT — An Orange man was arrested for DUI following an investigation into a July crash in Trumbull. The man's vehicle struck a guardrail, went airborne and struck a tree as it exited Route 8 onto Penny Avenue.
Operator Gregory Curtin, 62, was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. A search warrant was obtained for his medical records that revealed his blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit, police said.
