DUI Arrest Made After Car Swerves Into Cop's Lane: Trumbull PD

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after his vehicle crossed into the opposing lane of traffic near a police officer, according to police.

An officer was driving on White Plains Road July 23 when a vehicle came into his lane from the opposite side of the street and then quickly swerved back.

Armando Callard, 53, of Bridgeport seemed intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests, police said. He didn't blow hard enough into the BAC test machine to register.

He was charged with DUI and failure to drive right. Bond was set at $500.
