DUI Driver Skid Near Cop: Trumbull PD
The operator was three times the legal limit, police said.
TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull man was arrested on DUI charges after an officer noticed his skidding near the intersection of Rt. 25 and 111 March 29, according to police.
The officer directed the operator to pull over to the right side of the road, but the driver drove away a short distance before stopping again, police said.
Operator Frank Pereira, 62, failed field sobriety tests. His BAC was .2440, which is three times the legal limit, according to police.
