"To bring prosperity back to our state we need a leader like Tim Herbst who has done on the local level what we need done in Hartford," said North Haven First Selectman Mike Freda. "When Tim took office in Trumbull he led by example and refused a town pension and moved all political appointees into a defined contribution plan. Tim tackled serious challenges with a firm commitment to reform, finding over $1 million in operational savings in his first 100 days in office and making the tough calls to get unfunded liabilities under control."
