Judge Denies Motion to Dismiss Suit Against Herbst
A construction management company owner claims Herbst has a vendetta. Herbst said what the owner was doing was a potential ethics breach.

A judge denied a motion to dismiss a case where First Selectman Tim Herbst was sued by a construction management company owner that claims he has a vendetta against him.
Gov. Dannel Malloy ally Alphonso Barbarotta brought the lawsuit against Herbst, claiming that he blocked a $100,000 contract to expand Trumbull Loves Children Inc. Daniels Farm campus, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Herbst said that he saw a potential violation of Trumbull code of ethics. Barbarotta has a contract with the town already and working for a private company that leased town property could be a violation of ethics, Herbst contends.
