Judge Won't Reconsider 48 Monroe Turnpike Ruling
The judge previously ruled in favor of the town over a zoning change that will pave the way for a 55+ community.
TRUMBULL, CT — A state Superior Court judge has denied a motion to reconsider of his decision to dismiss legal challenges against the zoning change at 48 Monroe Turnpike.
The zoning change happened in January 2019, which allowed plans to turn the former United Healthcare building into a 55+ residential community, according to the Trumbull Times.
Former Trumbull First Selectman Tim Herbst represented three nearby residents who sued the town over the zoning change.
