Man Killed In Serious 2-Vehicle Crash: Trumbull Police
Police say one of the cars struck a home.

TRUMBULL, CT — A 54-year-old man, who lived in the Daniels Farm Road area of town, died as a result of injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident Friday night, police said. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
Trumbull Police received several 911 calls at 7 p.m. Friday reporting a two car motor vehicle accident in the area of Daniels Farm Road near Strobel Road. A pick-up truck and a sedan collided, and the pick-up truck eventually struck a house, police said .
The only person inside of the pick-up truck was entrapped inside, and bystanders approached to assist him prior to Trumbull Police arrival. Trumbull Police rendered medical aid to the victim, and secured the scene.

Trumbull Center and Nichols Fire Departments arrived to extricate the victim from the pick-up truck. Trumbull EMS also arrived on scene to treat and eventually transport the male to St. Vincent’s Hospital where he later died.
The only person inside of the sedan suffered minor injuries and was transported to Bridgeport
Hospital for evaluation, police said. The Daniels Farm Road house which was struck sustained minor damage, and the residents were not home at the time of the accident, police said.

The Trumbull and Fairfield Police Department’s Traffic Divisions are currently investigating this
incident. The cause of the accident and cause of death have not been determined at this time.
