Moorefield Farm Development Approved

The plan calls for 10 homes on the former farm property.

TRUMBULL, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission approved a plan to construct 10 homes on the former Moorefield Farm property.

Acting Chairman Tony Silber said the application complied with the town's regulation, according to the Trumbull Times.

About a dozen neighbors objected to the plan with some alleging a conflict of interest because Zoning Board of Appeals member Matthew Reale is an investor in the project. Town Attorney James Nugent said there have been false accusations, attacks on staff and defamation of town volunteers.
