Multi-Family Rental Apartment Moratorium Extended In Trumbull
The moratorium was set to expire and was extended another year.
TRUMBULL, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission extended the moratorium on future multi-family rental apartment applications by another year in a 4-1 vote.
“I want to thank the P & Z Commission for extending this moratorium," said First Selectman Vicki Tesoro. "The additional twelve-month time out will provide the opportunity for us to further examine the impact on our town of policy changes and approvals dating back to 2017. We expect units at Ten Trumbull on Oakview Drive to begin to be occupied in the coming months. The data from that occupancy will be an important component to examining the impact on Town services."
Developments that are already zoned or under current consideration aren't affected. The original moratorium was passed in January 2019.
