TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull man was arrested nearly a year after a fatal crash in town. Rafi Altan, 40, was pulling onto Madison Avenue from Walnut Avenue when he struck a scooter operator, police said.
Richard Abriola, 58, was killed in the Dec. 18, 2016 crash. Altan was charged with failure to obey a stop sign and negligent homicide with a motor vehicle. He was released on a $5,000 bond after he turned himself in Dec. 7.
