Obit: John Cadra, 34, Of Trumbull

John David Cadra, age 34, of Trumbull, loving husband of Jennifer Portela Cadra, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 2, 2018. Born in Bridgeport on December 21, 1983, he was a son of David and Catherine Keehan Cadra of Trumbull. John was the owner and operator of Fairfield County Garage Door Co. An avid New York Yankees fan; he had a personality and a smile that could light up a room. He enjoyed making people smile, playing with his dogs and treasured time with family. He was a loving and caring husband, son, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his loving wife Jennifer and his parents, David and Cathy, survivors include two brothers, Chris and Kyle Cadra both of Trumbull, his father and mother-in-law, Albert and Teresa Portela, sister-in-law, Ashley Portela, all of Bridgeport; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Augustine Cathedral, 359 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends can greet the family on Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
