1. 2 Stolen Vehicles Found In Trumbull: Police (patch.com) — Residents in Trumbull are being urged to lock their cars and remove keys after police recovered two stolen vehicles in town and arrested three people, including a local juvenile. Officers say many of September's eight stolen vehicles and numerous thefts from cars involved unlocked vehicles or keys left inside, and they're asking anyone with information to contact Trumbull police.
   

2. Metal Manufacturer Among 34 New Trumbull Businesses Registered In September (patch.com) — Trumbull is seeing fresh economic activity, with 34 new businesses registering with the state in September, including a fabricated structural metal manufacturer. The newcomers span 30 different categories, from a full-service restaurant and auto repair shop to sports instruction and HVAC services, all listing Trumbull addresses.
   

3. 10 apartments and 5 businesses are coming to Trumbull Center (ctpost.com) — A new two-story building with 10 one-bedroom apartments and five commercial spaces has been approved for 855–861 White Plains Road in Trumbull Center, across from the firehouse. Sidewalks, bike racks, EV chargers, and parking are included, with demolition of existing homes expected in 2027 and construction planned to start next year, reshaping a key part of town.
   

4. Trumbull Man Arrested After Shelton Armed Robbery (newhavenindependent.org) — A Trumbull resident has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store on Howe Avenue in nearby Shelton, following an investigation that tracked him down within hours. Police say they recovered cash, a facsimile firearm, and clothing tied to the incident, and the suspect is being held on a high bond with a court appearance scheduled in Derby.
