• Trumbull Dog Day Festival 2026 Details Announced (patch.com) — Dog owners in Trumbull can mark their calendars for the town's first Trumbull Dog Day Festival, set for Oct. 3 at Unity Park Pavilion on White Plains Road. The free, rain-or-shine event will feature local pet vendors, demonstrations, giveaways, a dog parade, and plenty of activities for leashed pups and their families, with donations encouraged to support community partners.
   

• Delays, Detours Expected As Paving Begins Near Trumbull School: Town (patch.com) — Drivers in Trumbull should be prepared for delays and detours as paving work proceeds around Tashua Elementary School, including Mallett Drive and Peaceful Valley Road. Town officials say the Board of Education has been notified, so families traveling to and from the school may want to allow extra time and consider alternate routes.
