Preliminary Drawing Ignites Fight Between Herbst, Garrity
Another fight between elected officials has started.

TRUMBULL, CT—Another feud between Republican and Democrat elected officials has started, this time over a preliminary medical building drawing on lower Main Street.
First Selectman Tim Herbst released the rendering and said it exemplified bad decision making on the party of Planning and Zoning, which is majority Democrat, according to the Trumbull Times.
Herbst specifically blamed Chairman Fred Garrity.

Garrity said there are no applications before the commission for lower Main Street and the draft is preliminary and intended to begin talks between town staff and the developer. Any building would be subject to zoning laws in that area.
