Protesters Appear Before Trumbull Community Center Vote
A preliminary vote on the community center took place, but there is still much more to be done before it's a reality.

TRUMBULL, CT — About 60 protesters appeared before a preliminary vote on the proposed community center. Some were upset with a perceived lack of transparency and the possible sale of six town-owned properties.
The Town Council approved space on Old Church Hill Road and gave preliminary approval for artist renderings, according to the Trumbull Times. Funding for the total project and the sale of town property wasn't on the agenda.
After the meeting some residents and First Selectman Tim Herbst sparred on Twitter.
