In their endorsement, CTLCV said Rep. Devlin was endorsed due to her commitment to protecting Connecticut's environment and continuing to make the environment remain a high priority at the State Legislature. The League provides a great resource for state-wide education on specific issues impacting our land, air, water, wildlife and climate.
Rep. Devlin has been a consistent supporter of pro-environmental legislation at the State Capitol.
“I am grateful for the CTLCV’s endorsement. For me, advocating on behalf of a clean environment is not a partisan issue but a moral issue. I have a proven record of protecting our environment, preserving the natural resources and uses of the Long Island Sound with the Blue Plan, and eliminating polystyrene foam (Styrofoam) products and plastic bags from the waste stream, said Rep. Devlin. “I look forward to continuing my work with CTLCV protecting our state’s environmental treasures for future generations of Connecticut residents.”
