Route 111 Crosswalk Improvements Detailed
The improvements should make it easier and safer for pedestrians to cross the busy road.

TRUMBULL, CT — Crosswalk improvements will be made on Route 111 at the Old Mine Park Pequonnock River Trail.
Highly visible pavement markings in both north and southbound lanes will be made and existing flashing lights will be replaced with rapid flashing lights. The Department of Transportation is reviewing the final plans.
“It is important that traffic along the Route 111 and 25 corridor be analyzed as a whole and not individually in order to make the best decisions to improve traffic flow and safety in the area” said Mark Block, District 3 Representative to the Trumbull Town Council.
