Tashua Pool Opening May Be Delayed

TRUMBULL, CT — Tashua Pool's opening may be a little later than originally anticipated as crews work on a repair. The pool was scheduled to open June 22.

The area of the main deck settled two inches and poses a tripping hazard. About 600 square feet of decking is being removed in order to make water line repairs. Once that is done new concrete will be poured.

"We had anticipated completion of this work in time for our scheduled opening, however the forecast currently calls for several days of rain over the next week, which will delay completing the final repairs," said Parks and Recreation Superintendent Dmitri Paris.

More information will be released in the future as repairs reach completion.
