As an author, I feel a lot of joy as I am teaming up with Connecticut business owners. Throughout Connecticut, restaurant owners, wineries, bakeries, coffee shops, universities, libraries, beauty shops and other businesses have welcomed me and are very open to book signings at their locations. After speaking and meeting them in person, I must say that I am really lucky that they are so open to my ideas, while they are friendly and professional. Some business owners or workers have agreed to wear my "Slices of Life Italian-American Stories" t-shirt on the day of the book signing at their location while I agree to wear their t-shirt with the name of their restaurant or business. It really is fun "Teaming up" with Connecticut businesses. My upcoming book signings in July are at the Stamford Senior Center, Thursday, July 11th at 4:15pm during their Open House Event. Their Executive Director, Ana Nelson, radiates enthusiasm and sincerity. I really look forward to my presentation and book signing at the Stamford Senior Center. A percentage of the sale of each book that day will be given as a donation to the Stamford Senior Center. Yesterday, I met the owner of Home Restaurant in Branford, CT. The owner, Jared, welcomed me in his rustic and cozy restaurant as we planned my book signing event for Saturday, July 20th from 12pm-5pm, during Branford's Summer Sidewalk Sale on Main Street. My new flyers will be printed up not just with the cover of my book, but with his restaurant logo as well for the event. More book signings are being planned for July and August, so check my blog and the events section soon! Teaming up in CT is my kind of thing. It is about helping each other and talking to so many awesome people while having fun. My books will be available for purchase and signing at my CT book signings. Or, simply chat with me and feel free to take a complimentary book mark. I hope to see you are around CT!
