Teen Arrested For 2 Phone Snatchings At Trumbull Mall: PD
He was arrested, released to his mother and then was arrested again the next day, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A 14-year-old boy was arrested Sunday for his involvement in two phone snatchings at the Trumbull mall, according to police.
The teen along with his 17-year-old brother and other unidentified teens grabbed a phone from a teenaged girl at the mall Jan. 25 around 5:30 p.m., said Lt. Brian Weir, police spokesman. They then fled the scene. The two brothers were later apprehended by officers.
Both the brothers were charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny and were released to their mother with a promise to appear in court.

The next day the same 14-year-old boy entered Target with another male and grabbed an iPhone from a customer before running out of the store, Weir said. Surveillance video helped police identify the teen again.
He was charged with third-degree robbery, second-degree larceny and second-degree criminal trespass and was again released to the custody of his mother.

No one was injured in either incident.
