Trial Begins for Man Accused of Killing, Dismembering ECSU Student
Alyssiah Marie Wiley's remains were found in Trumbull. Her boyfriend is accused of murdering her.

The trial for a man accused of killing and dismembering her girlfriend before leaving her remains off of Quarry Road Trumbull has begun.
Jermaine Richards, 32, was charged with kidnapping and murder of Eastern Connecticut State University student Alyssiah Marie Wiley, according to the Connecticut Post.
Surveillance footage of Wiley outside of her dorm room was played for the jury. Witness Sade Burke said Wiley had been texting about how she was contemplating breaking up with Richards.

Wiley’s mother Corrinna Martin was sitting outside of court because she is a possible witness. She started a group to help end domestic violence.
