Troopers Seize 1.3 Pounds Of Marijuana In Trumbull: PD

TRUMBULL, CT — Troopers seized more than 1.3 pounds of marijuana and arrested a Massachusetts man after a traffic stop on April 7, according to police.

A trooper pulled over a vehicle near the split with Route 25 after it cut across the gore area and cut off a pickup truck, police said. Troopers searched the vehicle and found the marijuana along with a scale and packaging materials.

Jeffrey Charles, 26, of Cohasset, Mass. was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell, possession of marijuana and failure to drive in the proper lane. He was released on a $5,000 bond.
