Trumbull Board Approves Budget, No Tax Increase
The budget was reduced in some areas and a tax increase was offset with rainy day funds.
TRUMBULL, CT — The Board of Finance approved a budget that comes with no tax increase.
The board voted to move $2.96 million from the rainy day fund to help offset a tax increase, according to the Trumbull Times. The final vote was 4-2.
Some board members opposed moving money from the rainy day fund and instead proposed cutting the budget more.
