Trumbull Businessman to Run for First Selectman
Michael Redgate is an unaffiliated candidate.

TRUMBULL, CT — Resident and local business manager Michael Redgate announced his candidacy for Trumbull first selectman.
Redgate is unaffiliated.
"Whether you are an unaffiliated voter, Republican or Democrat, I believe we can work together," he said. "Our focus will be on why we moved here, why we’ve stayed here, and how we can encourage new families to do the same."

Redgate has been a member of the Trumbull Rotary Club for 23 years and previously served as the organization's president. He has also been chairman of the board for Lakewood Trumbull YMCA. He is in his fifth year as president of the Trumbull Pisces Swim Association.
Redgate is the father of three Trumbull Public School students.
