Trumbull EMS Commission Denounces Herbst Statement

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull EMS Commission denounced first selectman candidate Michael Herbst's statement that the town has significant EMS issues.

Herbst said that EMS in Trumbull has had constant problems for the past two years under First Selectman Vicki Tesoro, including a lack of manpower to cover emergency calls, according to the Trumbull Times.

The commission chastised Herbst and said there was enough manpower to cover emergency calls and have paramedics on duty for all shifts.
