Trumbull Man, 24, Dies In Crash, Community Raises $30K For Family
Calling hours and funeral details were released Monday.

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull community and beyond is mourning the death of Brendan T. Murren, 24, who was killed when he lost control of his vehicle on Route 25 North this weekend.
Murren's vehicle crashed into a tree, and then rolled over and ended up on its roof, the CT Post reported. Since news of the young man's death, a GoFundMe page has been created and already $30,000 has been raised.
The GoFundMe page states: "Our cousin Katie Tighe lost her son Brendan Murren in a tragic car accident on January 12, 2019. We are raising money to help her with funeral expenses at this very difficult time. Any help you can give her would be greatly appreciative. Thank You!"

A total of 380 people have raised nearly $31,000 as of Monday night.
According to his obituary, via the Connecticut Post, calling hours will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. at Larson Funeral Home in Bridgeport on Wednesday and the funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Christ the King RC Church in Trumbull.
