Trumbull Mill Rate Stays The Same

There will be no tax increase for Trumbull residents this year. First Selectman Vicki Tesoro also shared details about summer programs.

TRUMBULL, CT — The Board of Finance set the towns mill rate the same for coming fiscal year, which means there won't be a tax increase in town this year.

Tax bills will be mailed to businesses and residents on July 1. Town hall will be open for in-person payment of taxes on July 1, but First Selectman Vicki Tesoro is encouraging people to pay taxes either online or via mail. Payments can be deferred for those affected financially by the pandemic.

"I am also pleased to announce that for the first time park stickers will be included with your tax bills. We believe this will improve the process and make it easier for our residents to visit our parks," Tesoro said in a message to the community.
