Trumbull PD Arrests Alleged Car Burglar

The man is accused of breaking into half a dozen vehicles at the Trumbull Marriott.

Trumbull Police arrested a Bridgeport man who is accused of breaking into six vehicles at the Trumbull Marriott over the summer.

Police were called to the hotel on July 18 on a report of half a dozen vehicles being burglarized and items stolen.

Detectives found that the front passenger window was smashed in several instances to gain entry. Fingerprints and blood samples were obtained.

Police ran the fingerprints in a database and the results came back for Bryan Perez, 19, of Bridgeport.

Police gave him a chance to speak with him before his arrest, but he didn’t oblige. A warrant was obtained and Perez was arrested Nov. 23.

He was charged with six counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree larceny and credit card theft.
