Trumbull Police Blotter: Feb. 25-29

TRUMBULL, CT — Below are notable arrests from Trumbull Police during late February. Those charged are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

  • Stephen Bratz, 32, of Bridgeport was charged with interfering with police after he gave a false name to officers Feb. 29, according to police. Two people in the Tanager Lane area reported that a suspicious unknown man asked if they needed landscaping services. Police stopped Bratz's vehicle and noticed a 5-year-old child was in the front seat, according to police. Bratz had an active arrest warrant from Stratford Police as well.
  • Orlando Rodriguez, 38, of Bridgeport was charged with sixth-degree shoplifting and trespassing Feb. 25 after he stole $187 worth of items from Macy's, according to police. He had previously been banned from the store.
  • Javier Reyes, 18, of Milford was charged with first-degree criminal mischief Feb. 28. Reyes had vandalized a Silver Lane parking garage with spray paint, police said.
