Trumbull Police Make Gun Arrest
Officers found a loaded revolver after a motor vehicle stop. The owner doesn't have a permit, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT- A Trumbull man was arrested after he was found in possession of a pistol without a permit following a motor vehicle stop, according to police.
An officer stopped a vehicle at Old Town Road and Rt. 127 on March 2 because it didn't have a front license plate. The vehicle was unregistered and driver Michael Cummings, 40, was uninsured, said Lt. Leonard Scinto, police spokesman.
Cummings was issued infractions and decided to walk home after finding out his vehicle would be towed.

Police conducted an inventory search of the vehicle before it was towed and found a loaded .32 caliber revolver in the center console.
Cummings was located minutes later and arrested for carrying a weapon without a permit and weapon in a motor vehicle. He was released on a $1,500 bond.
