Trumbull Police Make Sex Assault Arrest
The man sexually assaulted a teen girl in Trumbull, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT—Police arrested a Bridgeport man for a sexual assault that occurred in town during 2014, according to police.
Trumbull Police were contacted in May 2016 by Derby Police regarding a sexual assault investigation.
A Bridgeport resident who lived in Trumbull for several years sexually assaulted a 15-year-old in 2014, police said. A more recent assault took place in Derby and came to light when the victim talked to her sister.
Jaime Rivera, 28, was charged with second-degree sexual assault, two counts of illegal sexual contact and fourth-degree sexual assault. He was held on a $100,000 bond.
