Trumbull Police Warn About Thefts from Cars

Police are dealing with a number of incidents across town.

TRUMBULL, CT—Police are warning residents about a rash of car burglaries in town.

The incidents are happening overnight and police are already investigating several incidents, said Lt. Keith Golding, police spokesman.

Thieves break into cars that are left unlocked in order to get valuables including cash and personal belongings.

Police remind residents to lock their vehicles and not to leave valuables inside a vehicle or in plain view.

Anyone with information about the break-ins can call police at 203-261-3665 or via the anonymous tip line.
