Trumbull's Tim Herbst, State Sen. Bob Duff in Twitter War
The argument started over legislative mileage reimbursement.

TRUMBULL, CT — First Selectman Tim Herbst and State Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff engaged in a battle over Twitter regarding mileage reimbursement for state legislators.
Herbst filed FOI requests regarding mileage reimbursement for for four state senates, including one who was reimbursed more than $100,000 over 10 years, according to the Connecticut Post. It's thought that Herbst may make a run for governor in 2018, but Herbst has yet to confirm that.
The state Democratic Party fired back by filing an FOI request with Herbst seeking a cost breakdown for the records request.
