Woman Tried To Steal $3.5k Worth Of Phones: Trumbull PD
Years ago it would take a box of phones for that amount, but these days it's just a few.

TRUMBULL, CT — A woman with a history of identity theft was arrested after she tried to fraudulently purchase three iPhone XSs at a total value of $3,597, according to police.
Police were called to the Sprint store at the Trumbull mall for fraud in progress. Sprint stores had been notified of a female suspected of making fraudulent purchases in the area.
A woman came into the Trumbull store Oct. 27 and tried to purchase the three expensive phones. She presented a photo ID and credit card, which police later determined were fakes. Police also seized several credit cards and fake IDs with different names, police said.

Alexis King, 32, was charged with third-degree identity theft and criminal attempt at third-degree larceny.
