13th Annual Chicken Run at Strong Family Farm

Vernon's community farm, Strong Family Farm, started the Chicken Run 13 years ago to welcome the new baby chicks to the farm with a 5K run, 2K walk and fun kids run. In the past, approximately 200 people come to the farm to celebrate the chicks and the opening of the farm for the season. It will take place on Sunday, May 17^th with registration opening at 7:30. This has been the biggest farm fundraiser in which proceeds go towards our FREE Sunday programming for the season starting in mid-June. Parking is at Center Road School.
