Cameras Surprise Pranksters Breaking Into Radio Tower In Vernon

VERNON, CT — A couple of trespassers "broke into" the Fox Hill radio tower in Vernon last week and police are looking for them.

The radio tower is located just below the famous Fox Hill Tower atop Henry Park. Police said the shenanigans took place on April 11.

Images of two people were captured by surveillance cameras inside the equipment room of the radio tower, police said. One can be seen clearly, while the other quickly covered her face with an article of clothing.

Police are considering it a trespassing incident and no damage was reported. Anyone who might recognize those pictured can contact Vernon police at at 860-872-9126 x2009.
