Christmas Tree Collection Schedule Outlined In Vernon

VERNON, CT — Christmas trees will be collected curbside during the first two full weeks in January, weather-permitting, public works officials said.

Residents are being asked to remove all decorations, tinsel and avoid placing the trees in plastic bags.

The Transfer Station will be accepting Christmas trees for disposal for the entire month of January, officials said. A permit and punchcard will not be required for Christmas tree disposal.
