D.C. Trip was About More Than Hoops for Local Athlete

Taylor Krajewski, a junior at Rockville High School, had a productive summer season for for the CT Wave 15-and-under national AAU basketball team.  

The final  tournament for the Wave was in Washington D.C., where the team went 4-1.

But it was not all about the court for Krajewski on that trip. She had the opportunity to meet Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia. Warner, formerly from Vernon, graduated from Rockville High School with the Class of 1973 and played basketball for the Rams.
