About The Gifts of OWC with Opportunity Works Connecticut inc
It’s that time of year again!
The Gifts of OWC will be opening from 9:00-1:00 on Saturdays beginning November 10, 2018 through December 22, 2018.
Our regular hours will continue Monday-Friday from 10:00-4:00.
A little about us: Opportunity Works Connecticut. Inc. (OWC) is a non-profit agency that supports people with intellectual, cognitive, and physical disabilities in Eastern Connecticut. We are committed to enhancing the lives of people through meaningful vocational and gainful employment services. We embrace the idea that all people can live a fully productive life within their community.
OWC supports these adults in their journey to live successfully by setting the standard in providing program excellence, skill training, mentoring and advocacy OWC provides services that aid in positive self image which will foster a sense of respect and dignity for the individuals we serve and enable them to work and live with quality of life.
The Gifts of OWC houses so many creations made by our individuals including: Bird Houses, Jewelry, Wood Crafts, Home Décor, Hand Made Cards and so much more.
Along with in house made items we have a selection of craft vendors as well as a brand new Holiday Room!
