Earthquake Rocks Connecticut for Fourth Straight Day

Again the Plainfield region has been hit by a minor earthquake.

Another earthquake rocked the Plainfield region last night, making it the fourth straight day with tremors for the normally quiet corner of Connecticut.

The 2.2 magnitude earthquake occurred around 4:30 a.m. this morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.

Some residents have reported small cracks in basement walls, according to WFSB.

There have been 10 earthquakes in the past week.Residents will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Plainfield High School on Friday to discuss the phenomenon.
