Fundraiser for Vernon Santa House on Tap for Next Month
The Santa House sits downtown for the holidays and the annual fundraiser is coming up.
VERNON, CT — The annual fund raiser to benefit the Vernon Santa House is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the American Legion Post 14 lodge, 114 West St.
The event is scheduled for rain or shine and tickets are $15 donation for those 11 and older. Children 10 and younger are free.
Tickets can be purchased at the VFW.

The event will feature a barbecue, a DJ, a raffle, games, face painting a bounce house and a visit from a guy in a red suit.
The Santa House sits in Vernon's Central Park during the holiday season and children can visit Santa in a warm cozy environment.
