Illegal Fireworks Charge Levied On Vernon Resident For 2022 Incident

VERNON, CT — A Vernon resident has been charged with illegally possessing high-powered fireworks for an incident last Fourth of July, police said.

A warrant was served on the 46-year-old man on March 15, police said.

According to an arrest report, Vernon police received complaints from the 600 block of Bolton Road about debris from a private fireworks show littering their properties.

At the scene, officers discovered "exploding fireworks," according to an incident report.

The resident was charged on a warrant with the illegal possession of exploding fireworks and disorderly conduct.
