Make Your Own “Beneficial Bug” on June 30
Children, Adults, Families Welcome to Visit Valley Falls Heritage Center for Art and History
The Valley Falls Farm and Heritage Center is now open every Sunday, from 1-4 pm in June, July and August, with guided tours offered from 2-3 pm. On June 30, Miss Jan will be in the Red Barn where children and adults are invited to learn about Beneficial Bugs and make their own pollinator bug or butterfly with provided art supplies. Visitors can also tour the six historic farm buildings filled with vintage items and interpretive posters that tell the story of the people who lived on the farm in the early to mid-1900s. Geared for all ages: free admission, interactive exhibits and picnic areas. Park at the Red Barn Welcome Center, 345 Valley Falls Road, Vernon, or a short walk from Valley Falls Park.
