The Fox Hill Tower at Henry Park was lit up in red to honor fallen firefighters.

VERNON, CT — The latest installment of the picture Vernon series doesn't go back very far ... only to Thursday evening to be exact.
That's when the Fox Hill Tower at Henry Park was illuminated in red to honor fallen firefighters.
The display was part of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation's Light the Night program.

The red lights came on just before 7 p.m. and the tower was lit until 11 p.m. The light could be seen clearly from not only the park but from vantage points in Downtown Rockville and Lower Butcher Road in Ellington.
